Cook & Fermenter
Mandy Hall is a passionate fermenter and cook. After a long love affair with fermentation, she set off to Tennessee for a Fermentation Residency with Sandor Katz, that experience of learning from a world authority cemented her existing love for fermenting, so much so that Mandy decided to undertake further qualification and is also currently studying for a Science/Fermentation degree at university.
After a brief encounter at Hakko, Mandy has become a life long friend and partner with the Longhouse, a guiding light and support to our team in many facets of Longhouse activities from Private Events & Functions to Lunch & Learn and class activities. Her extreme passion for food, ferments and all things to do with cooking makes for an intoxicating relationship that we see as having a long future…
